CuS?Carrageenan Composite Grown from the Gel/Liquid Interface

The aim of this study is to highlight novel CuS-carrageenan nanocomposites grown from the interface between sulfide solutions (liquid phases) and Cu-?-carrageenan gels. Several parameters including pH, copper carrageenan concentration hydrogel that influence growth nanocomposite have been examined. most effective parameter initial pH liquid phase, hence, three growing samples at 7, 10 13 were selected for further studies referred as LPH7, LPH10 LPH13. Three obtained conditions purified examined in detail using several characterization techniques such X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) photoelectron (XPS). structure, composition, properties well mechanism studied. Additionally, electrical conductivity was exploited be used a sensor relative humidity temperature.
